A major asset for Ohio Martial Arts is the use of Swain Mats for their
workout area. These are the same mats used in the Olympics for martial arts
competition. These are further supported by a dense foam underlayment which
creates a wonderful platform to work on. "As far as we know", stated
Dr. Conn, "these mats are not used by any schools anywhere near this area.
If you have ever taken a hundred or more falls in a day believe me theses will
take the edge off. It will allow our students to work harder and safer!"
Ohio Martial Arts has many free standing bags for students to work on and will
be adding several hanging heavy bags. "We also have Bob for those that have
had a rough day", laughed Dr Conn. Bob is a free standing punching bag with
a torso and head. "Bob doesn't mind if you need to take out a little
frustration and with our instructors you'll learn how to do it right."
